Sex Offender Registry
The sex offender registry helps protect our community by requiring sex offenders to register with the police department of the community in which he/she resides. Some are even required to register for life (level 2 &3).
The Village of Lake Placid currently has 2 registered sex offenders living within the Village limits. Those offenders can be accessed using the links below. The information about the offenders includes there names, address, photo of the individual, and details about the conviction.
As offenders move into the Village, The Lake Placid Police Department acquires their information and updates the sex offender registry.
Sex offenders are classified by risk level:
-Level one (low risk)
-Level two (moderate risk)
-Level three (high risk)
Under the provisions of the sex offender registration act, a request
for the release of sex offender information can be made on behalf on an
entity with a vulnerable population. Click,
information request form, to download the form.
If you have information that proves the sex offender's status is not correct, or information regarding any sex offender, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
