Touch-a-Truck 2010
The annual Touch-a-Truck event took place on Saturday, May 22, at the Lake Placid horse Show Grounds. The event allows kids a chance to sit in the seats and learn about emergency vehicles, construction trucks and other various trucks.

Hard to believe but it's true, the beginning of school is upon us. The Lake Placid Police Department is encouraging all motorists to be extra cautious while on the roads and remember to stop when school bus lights are flashing.
